Message to Our Students
Dear All,
Hi everyone! We sure do miss those of you who are in Baltimore. To our new students in Tampa; thank you for letting us into your lives and being patient with our transition into moving! We will teach many more lessons next year!
The SalsaFest in Philly was amazing. For those of you who missed it they are sure to do another one next year!
PS. If you ever learned anything from us we want you to remember this... that if you do salsa, do it for a reason and help anyone you can in the process. Show random acts of kindness, patience and gentleness to beginners and never let pride get in the way of who you were truly meant to be as a dancer. We are so proud of you....God Bless each and every one of you.
Sincerely,
Grace & Hugo Badillo

Grace’s Salsa Tips
Tip #1:
Gossip: Gossip is a major problem in the world in general. Some people, even some instructors in the salsa world tend to gossip and create a reality of lies all on their own. Most of it is created to make other instructors and/or students feel bad about themselves and to inflate their own egos or steal clients. If you have been a victim of gossip or malice just remember you are not alone. When you hear it and you say nothing, you are part of it. Our advice to you is to stay away from people who talk down about others as their own personal hobbie. Try to choose instructors with integrity. Find instructors that make it a goal in their lives to improve on their character and be a good example to others. Life is a work in progress and no one is perfect :0)
Tip#2: Drinking: Recently I was at a friends house and we were on her facebook page. People were posting how they couldn't wait to go to the club to get drunk and dance. It's less usual to see dancers drink alcohol in the salsa world. Typically salsa dancers are water and energy drink people. It was sad to think about alcohol-soaked dancers on the floor hurting other dancers and their partners. If you want to drink, plan on relaxing and giving your partners a break. No one wants to dance with a train wreck and drunk people are not attractive people. |

5. Is Dancing A Sin?
Have you ever wondered if dance is a sin? Many of us have been taught about God (the creator of Heaven & Earth). What does He say about Dance? To read Grace's article, "Is Dancing A Sin" click here:
Grace would love to know your opinion. Email her at grace@dancingwithgrace.com
Check out the last email I received about this article:
Hi Grace-
I loved your article on dancing. I grew up being told it was a sin…so I was prohibited from dancing. So guess what I wanted to do most of my life? Yep!
BTW…Is there a sinful form of dancing?…of course. And there is a sinful form of eating, driving cars, watching TV, recreating, etc.
I loved your take on the issue. Thanks for sharing what you’ve learned and experienced.
As a Baptist Minister, and Christian radio Talk show host I now enjoy dancing with my wife…and I DON’T CARE anymore what the legalists say.
Neil
PS I’m not much of a dancer…but it’s fun, and I hate the fact that the enemy tried to steal it from God’s people. Well, I am committed to taking it back!
