1. Rueda Classes at Gardel’s w/
Barbara Bernstein, June 24 - July 29!
Yes, Rueda is here at Gardel’s for all to learn.
Every Saturday night for 6 weeks Barbara Bernstein
and one of her assistants will be teaching Rueda at
8 and 9 o'clock. For more information please
go to
www.DanceInTimeProductions.com
Hugo and I wanted our students to have the chance to
learn Rueda and possibly dance in one of our rueda
circles in the future! Its not as hard as it
looks and with Barbara teaching you Rueda's
foundational movements you will be ready to enter a
circle in no time at all. If you are an
intermediate salsa dancer you will love this and
move quickly; if you are a beginner Barbara is
wonderful at getting you through the class feeling
like you accomplished enough to move forward!
Stay after the class and watch some rueda circles as
students practice. Come out and support
Barbara Bernstein and when Hugo and I get back from
resting a bit we will join your circle! Classes are
$10 each.
If we have enough of a response we may use some of
the student circles for a student showcase at
Gardel’s in the future!
Since Barbara Bernstein will be teaching Rueda
each Saturday night we are offering the Int/Adv
salsa class on Friday Nights at 9 p.m. sharp. The
Regular Salsa Schedule will resume in August on
Saturday Nights.
2. Rescheduled: Latin Hip Movement & Partnering Workshop, June 3, 2006
Due to many emails sent to us that this workshop is
being held on a weekend where many people are going to
graduations and graduation parties we have decided to
reschedule it to the fall. If you have paid for this
workshop we will give you a full refund.
Be on the look out in the future and if you are an engaged couple,
or a father daughter team looking to do a salsa dance at
your wedding please see our upcoming wedding workshop for
couples on July 22, 2006 (see side bar in this newsletter
for more information).
3. See Our Video Release Benefit Pictures!
The Salsa Videos Release Benefit Party was filled with fantastic food, dancing, performances, prizes, humor and heart! For those of you who missed it we sure hope you check out our pictures in our photo gallery.
Each person involved from the dancers to the guests made the
night a complete success. A huge thank you to each of those who contributed to this cause. We couldn't have done it without you!
We were able to raise over $1,000.00 for the children!
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of others
through your love for dance. We look forward to doing
other events and hopefully raising thousands of dollars for
the needy in Baltimore and Beyond!

Dress Code:
Casual, comfortable sweats or yoga pants, (preferably) salsa practice shoes (for turns and spins on a wooden dance floor). If you don't have salsa shoes, you can wear your evening dance. Tennis shoes will inhibit your spins and may ruin your knees over time. You can go to the DWG Store to see if you find something you like. Or go on line and check out shoes like Supadance or International. They can get pricy but make a world of difference when you dance.
Check out Grace's Shoe Clues Chapter in her Salsa With Grace Instructional Video so she can explain why you need good dance shoes, which should you buy first and how to take care of them! Purchase our Salsa Videos.
Promenade Dance Sport Facility is located on 2605 Lord Baltimore Drive. For directions and more information click here.
Getting Married soon? See our Salsa
Wedding Dance Workshop to be held at the Promenade on July
